I started writing poetry as a sober adolescent before good red Rioja addled my brain and made me produce more sensible but less heartfelt rubbish. I re-hashed the one below for a competition and was surprised to get a commendation. Always wanted a commendation. I also used to do my own illustrations….
I was also inspired by Ogden Nash, Jabberwocky and my own ridiculous imagination to write Silly Poetry.
